Beauty Review (Mary Kay Products)

Happy Sunday everyone. I cant believe that we are 2 days away from christmas ! Over the years I have probably spend thousands of dollars on department store brand make up and although I do like some certain products, I do feel like I've figured out what works best for my skin and my look. I have struggled with doing my make up before so I am glad that I have something now where I actually enjoy doing my make up in the morning. I do not sell Mary Kay or dont plan on selling Mary Kay . I just got introduced to it and I love it but I am not trying to sell it to anyone on here. Lets just make that clear. My best friend and Co Worker does Mary Kay on the side and Just recently my boyfriend got together with her to get some product for me for christmas. Aside from being super spoiled I was super excited becuase I was running out of certain things. So here is my review of some of my favorite make up and products I recieved . My Make up Collection isn't anything elegant or fancy. Its literally in a GlossyBox and a mason Jar. Real unique I know. But it works.
I have other benefit and mac products but I took them out for this review . This is my absolute favorite product I have from this line.
Timewise Matte-Wear liquid foundation. Seriously a life saver. For years I wore Mac StudioFix NW18 and it had great coverage, but by the end of the day I looked like a drying ceramic pot on the spinning wheel. I love love love this foundation. I like a lot of coverage because at a younger age I had trouble skin so I have some subtle scars and this base is a godsent. I wear Ivory 4 and have found that this is the longest lasting makeup that looks as great after my long 11 hour work days. I gotta still look good when I go home to my man right?
Under my foundation I dabble a little bit of the Oil Matifier on my face. I recieved this one as a gift for christmas so I have just started using it but I see such a difference in the oil in my skin.
I feel like Im doing this review backwards because this next product I put on before I go to bed at night once all my makeup is washed off. I AM NOT WORTHY TO THIS PRODUCT! This is such a great spot treatment. I dont use it all over but if I have a blemish or trouble spots ( especially during that time of the month ) I put a bit on and wake up with it almost all cleared up. If its a big one , its just much smaller. Now this one does have Benzoyl Peroxide so it might dry you up a tad just make sure to stay moisturized. Now lets get to some Color !!!!!
This lip gloss makes me love being a woman. I have very fair skin so I like a little pop of color on my lips. I am not really into the real reds so I try to stay with berries or pinks. This one is the Nourishine Plus Possibilities. I like the consistency of it. Its not to sticky and it rolls nicely when applying.
I got quite a bit of eyeshadows but these are the two that I have tried so far . The Emerald is a mineraly green color and I love it. I am always skeptical putting on these kind of colors on my eyes but it went on so smoothly and light it wasnt too much. The Amber Blaze is HOT! I wore it last night with a light little leopard top and I felt so fierce. Its a goldy bronze color and it makes your eyes look so unique. I love the feeling of this light eye shadow. And it does not fall when applying. Last but certainly not least is Their Perfume "Dance to Life"
I am such a Victorias Secret Splashy kind of girl so I am always hesitant to try perfumes with the fear that it will be too musky but let me tell you.. Its not. Its very sweet and feminine and gives me just the right hint that actually stays fresh on my skin throughout the day. I still mix them with my splash to create my own personal scent but with that and the fruitiness of the splash it makes for a perfect combination. I loved doing this review. I will be doing other product lines here too but right now Im so into this new product that I got this year. If you do want to try any of these products here is my girlfriend's information.
