Thanks thanks thanks a million

What a beautiful holiday with my family today. After a stressful week I knew its exactly what we needed. Good food board games and laughing so hard my cheeks literally hurt. While we were playing the game MOODS which is is super fun and a good game to play with family that ensures a lot of good laughs, I watched my grandma laughing and realized I hadn't spend a holiday with this woman for probably the last 15 years . 15 years had gone by and I forgot what it was like to have her around. I then realized just where the hell I got my weirdness from but I love it. I am so thankful that I was able to have such a fun time with my family and my boyfriend who basically has become my family. But starting today and everyday after I will celebrate thanksgiving. I will continue to tell the people I am greatful for just how much they mean to me. Everyday when I am lucky enough to go into my office and have a job I will say thanks. Everyday I am able to come home to warm house with love and peace I will say thanks. I feel like I take so much for granted that I forget what I should be greatful for. The small things won't be that anymore. I wish everyone e would feel this way because anytime you ask someone how their holiday was they always say oh it was just so nice. Lets have thanksgiving everyday. Thank one person a day for doing something or being who they are. Start something. I have to share this recipe with you guys though. Mmmmmm was it good. Corn casserole ! I got it off if of Pinterest of course and it turned out so good. I highly recommend this for holidays or anytime you are in a comfort food mood I will post it at the bottom of the page .

When we got home mike sucked it up and helped put up our tree and some lights to get me started for my ornament hanging this weekend. It was so nice I haven't had my own tree like this ever so it was interesting to see how much work it is. I always looked at my parents doing it and just remembering the end result of it being so magical.

And yes aspen had to get a sniff.

It's time to wind down and get some shut eye and to all those going out Black Friday shopping please be careful!!!! Goodnight and Happy thanksgiving all!!!
